Advent greetings to you in the healing, hope and joy of Jesus!
As promised, I told you that I would keep you informed of our common desire to appoint a new pastor for St. John and Holy Rosary Parishes.
I am very thankful to Fr. Cloutier who has provided such a wonderful pastoral presence to you these past months as your parish Priest in Residence and Sacramental Minister, as well as Fr. Steve LaFlamme your Priest Moderator and Deacon Tim Eagan, as your Pastoral Administrator.
At this time, I am very happy to share with you that Fr. Cloutier will remain at St. John and Holy Rosary parishes as your parish Priest in Residence and Sacramental Minister through the end of April, 2024. This is great news, indeed! Starting in May, he will take up residence in a parish in the Archdiocese of St. Paul-Minneapolis to help with another parish's pastoral needs in the Archdiocese. I am truly grateful for his on-going commitment in your parishes through Easter and the month of April.
Please know that I and the Personnel Board are firmly committed to assigning another full-time pastor to your parish communities. Please pray for the guidance of the Holy Spirit in helping us to know who is being called to be the next pastor of St. John and Holy Rosary parishes.
If you have any questions, please contact Fr. Steve LaFlamme or Deacon Tim Eagan (who will also remain in their postitions as Priest Moderator and Pastoral Administrator) or talk to one of your trusees, Susan Roy or Michael Tibodeau (St. John)/ Marie Spry or Joy Carlson (Holy Rosary).
May God shower his blessing upon you and your parish in this holy season of Advent,
